Indian Tricolor Smoothie – Indian Independence Day 2018 Recipe

Happy Independence Day!!!  In the spirit of patriotism and cherishing our free motherland, we have developed an Independence day special Tricolor Smoothie recipe. The Indian Tricolor Smoothie is airy and light and is packed with a variety of nutrients from wholesome fruits. Serve to your friends and family and enjoy the deliciousness and goodness of this smoothie on this Indian Independence Day 2018.

INGREDIENTS –

For Kiwi smoothie –
  • 2 kiwis, chopped
  • 1 lemon’s juice
  • A handful of mint leaves
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tbsp sugar (optional)
For Orange Smoothie –
  • 1 small carrot, chopped
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tbsp sugar or honey (optional)
For the lemon mint base juice –
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 lemon’s juice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tbsp sugar (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS –

  1. Blend all the ingredients of Kiwi smoothie together thoroughly. Keep aside.
  2. Blend all the ingredients of Orange carrot smoothie together thoroughly and keep it aside too
  3. Blend all the ingredients for Lemon mint base juice together thoroughly and keep aside.
  4. In a glass jar or tumbler, pour in the green Kiwi smoothie will half of the jar.
  5. Then pour in the Lemon mint base juice for extra flavour.
  6. Finally, pour in Orange carrot smoothie carefully. 
  7. Add some purple or blue flower to match with the majestic Indian flag. Add a straw and serve.
