Gajar Ka Halwa


  • 4 tbsp ghee
  • Nuts and dry fruits of choice, chopped
  • 2 cups carrots, grated
  • 3 cups if milk
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 cup sugar or jaggery powder


1) Heat ghee in a pan. Add chopped nuts and dry fruits of your choice.
2) Add grated carrots and cook for 10 mins.
3) After carrots are cooked, add milk and let it evaporate for about 30 minutes. Keep stirring and make sure only a thick paste is left.
4) Add sugar or jaggery powder.
